The Villa des Prés is an elegant 19th century house with generously proportioned rooms. It was built around 1840 by Monsieur Charles-Gabriel Joanin, a wealthy landowner, and it has long been considered the château of the village.
The Villa is surrounded by gardens where the monks of the Benedictine priory used to come to work or relax until the French Revolution in 1789.
