Our Bed and Breakfast with kitchen

The Villa des Prés is an elegant 19th century house – “une grande maison de maître”- with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

All our rooms are sympathetically furnished and decorated and we look forward to welcoming you to our family home and doing everything we can to make your stay a real pleasure.

Each room has a different style but they are all comfortable and prettily furnished and decorated. The bed linen is of the highest quality; pure cotton or linen sheets with pretty monograms and all freshly ironed. The rooms are cleaned every day for your comfort and all have lovely big windows overlooking the countryside.

In our home you don’t have to shut yourself in your bedroom. There is a dining room and a “salon” where you can read or have a cup of tea. You are welcome everywhere!

Of course you are also invited to enjoy our terrace and beautiful gardens both with fantastic views over open countryside to the peaks of the Morvan Regional Park.

the secrets of our breakfast

Breakfast is served in the dining room between 08.00 and 10.00 hrs with the sun streaming through the big windows which open onto the terrace overlooking the garden.

Home-made jams made from wild berries or fruits grown in the garden, honey from our bees, hot toasted bread with honey, (a real treat!), baguette, croissants or chocolate breads from the bakery, creamy fresh butter; coffee, tea, chocolate….all of the highest quality.

The Coffee

We highly value the quality of our coffee:

The Jam

You can taste five different kinds of jam, homemade from fresh fruits from our garden and wild berries collected in the countryside. They are cooked often with natural brown sugar.

The Bee

A bee at work: an important ally for us in the garden. She fertilises our fruit trees and produces an excellent honey.
