A place of peace
This room has a feeling of peace and calm which may be a result of all the pilgrims who stayed here to rest their weary feet after a day of walking the traditional route of Saint-Jacques de Compostelle. The route starts in Vezelay (still known as “the eternal hill”) and ends in Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
Tea, coffee, sandwich …
You can use our “little kitchen” to make a cup of tea or coffee or prepare a sandwich. Why not take a snack into the garden?
There is also a big fridge where you can store your picnic and freeze the ice packs for your cool box. You may cook here a simple evening meal as well, but do not forget to visit the restaurants in the area where you can dine excellently. We will be delighted to advise you.

The Secrets of our breakfast
Breakfast is served in the dining room between 08.00 and 10.00 hrs with the sun streaming through the big windows which open onto the terrace overlooking the garden.
Home-made jams made from wild berries or fruits grown in the garden, honey from our bees, hot toasted bread with honey, (a real treat!), baguette, croissants or chocolate breads from the bakery, creamy fresh butter; coffee, tea, chocolate….all of the highest quality.

We highly value the quality of our coffee,
label Fair Trade.
The Jam
You can taste ten different kinds of jam, homemade from fresh fruits from our garden and wild berries collected in the countryside. They are cooked often with natural brown sugar.
The Bee
A bee at work: an important ally for us in the garden. She fertilises our fruit trees and produces an excellent honey.
